For those that don’t know “Cache” means (A hiding place used especially for storing provisions. A place for concealment and safekeeping, as of valuables). It’s a game we play called geocaching. With winter coming on, there aren’t many days left for hunting for lost treasure or to ride our ATV’s.
So a group of us got together and met up for a day of fun on the ATV’s and to pick up a couple of geocaches that we hadn’t gotten. You might notice that Tiger and I couldn’t get our ATV to start so we took the truck. (Tiger hates it when we can’t go and play.) Ramblin Ramsey and I are the only ones that do geocaching, so it was a treat to help along a couple of new comers too the game.
Dillon, Jean, and Bobby have never been with us before to ride or to geocache. I think they enjoyed it. I know Tiger really had a good time and so did I.
We are getting ready with the ATV’s and checking provisions. This we do often before going into the desert.
Getting our GPS’s set up to find the cache and to find our way back home. Some people can get lost in their own back yard. These people are the ones that really need a GPS. (Great gadget’s) Tiger and I have a GPS because our back yard is the USA.
Out of the three caches we went to find, Our new comers found two of them. Bobby found the fist one while Dillon was driving the ATV. And the second one Dillon found on his own. I think they will play this game again. (Nothing like finding a treasure).
Notice Bobby checking out Dillon on his find. All the caches were with in a couple of miles of each other, and even Tiger and I got to ride the ATV. We barrowed Jean’s, while she drove the truck. Tiger love’s to ride. Thanks Jean.
So with all this excitement it must be time for lunch. So find the shade with that great GPS of yours. That’s what I thought. Okay look for a shadow. It just might be shade.
Yep! Looks like shade to me. LOL.
So as we each stand beneath a leaf and eat our lunch, in the shade. (The world turns).
You might notice this is the only tree within miles.
It’s okay, if we eat fast maybe the shade won’t disappear. So why don’t we sit in the truck, or under it like Tiger dose?
Nope that won’t work. So I’ll show you our trek and call it a day.
Those little smiley faces you see on the track are the caches we found. The red line is our path of travel. Now that we all had a good lunch. (in the shade) we can go home.
So be safe and healthy. Till the next time from Tiger and Stu.
